Goodbye Vilho-Ukki

I'm sitting at the university, trying to study. It's pretty hard today, as I got a phone call yesterday from my dad who told me that my grandfather had died. Yes he had cancer and yes we knew this would happen. Did it make it easier? No. My grandpa was a man of many jokes - a man with thousands of stories. There is a big hole in our hearts now, but his heart finally has healed. No more cancer pains, no more heart problems. He got to experience it all: Finland during and after the war, children, happiness, hard work, but also death and devastation. He left this world without fear, he had accepted that you cannot fool death too many times - which he had done before and had lived on borrowed time for a long time. We need to honor his life (and death) by living.. And loving.

Have a safe last trip Ukki.

    1. Tack Sofia. Jo, det är det. Därför ska man komma ihåg att leva livet 100%. Våga göra saker, som typ byta jobb och skaffa en tax till ;)
